“The Energy Sustainability Committee at the University of Kirkuk continues its work on the International Ranking of Universities”
In the light of the implementation of the directives of the President of the University, Prof. Omran Jamal Hassan, and his scientific assistant, Prof. Ahmed Abd Ibrahim, on the international rankings of universities, the members of the Energy Sustainability Committee continued their work to meet the requirements of the global (Qs) classification. The committee recommended that the professors should include a section in their lectures to concentrate the concepts of the environment and sustainability and oblige the procurement committees to purchase devices and economic lighting and depend on using solar energy. It is worth noting that the committee’s work contributes to raising the level of the university’s international classification, which requires fulfilling the requirements for the (QS) ranking system.
