The College of Education for Human Sciences held a scientific symposium on the impact of drugs on the individual and society with the participation of faculty members and students. The symposium dealt with several lectures explaining the reasons for drug abuse and the damages resulting from its use, whether on the individual or his family and society. And ways to treat drug abusers and the procedures that can be used to reduce the spread of drugs. The symposium recommended the need to spread culture and educate society about the harms and dangers of drugs by holding lectures, workshops, seminars, and conferences. And the dissemination of it through social networking sites and satellite channels shows its health and social and psychological harm to society.
