The scientific research integrity committee at the Presidency of the University of Kirkuk is responsible for checking and granting scientific honesty forms to researchers of the University of Kirkuk and researchers of other universities. The process of checking any scientific published article is classified based on the type, rank, and reputation of the journal. In addition, different points are given to papers published in Iraqi, Arabic, International, Clarivate-indexed, and Scopus-indexed journals. The scientific committee consists of the President of the University of Kirkuk as the head of the committee and his assistant for scientific affairs as a member. The committee also includes four other members who are chosen on the basis of scientific competence and required experience in the field of auditing international and local scientific journals.
