A master's thesis at Kirkuk University discussing replacing vitamin C with anemone flower powder and its effect on laying hens.

A master’s thesis in the College of Agriculture discussed the replacement of anemone flower powder with vitamin C in productive and physiological performance, antioxidants, and the qualitative characteristics of eggs in laying hens raised in the summer, by the student Muhammad Fadel Abdul Khayat, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Ammar Qahtan Shanoon.

The study aimed to use the natural elements available in the local environment instead of antibiotics and artificial additives in order to confront the greatest challenge facing livestock in the summer, represented by high temperatures, as well as to adapt and confront the effects of climate changes that Iraq in particular and the world in general is facing, which have led to rising temperatures. Free from normal rates.

The study concluded that the use of anemone flower powder and vitamin C led to improvement of the studied characteristics.
