A Master’s thesis at the College of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk, examined the effect of spraying the growth regulators kinetin and brassinolide, along with seaweed extract, on vegetative growth characteristics and mineral content of young Halawani grapevines.
The thesis, submitted by the student Paiman Omar Mohammed Fatah, aimed to investigate the effects of spraying kinetin and brassinolide growth regulators on improving vegetative growth characteristics and mineral content of grapevines, determine the plant’s response to foliar application of seaweed extract in terms of vegetative growth and mineral content, and assess the individual and interactive effects of these factors on improving vegetative growth and mineral characteristics of Halawani grapevines, as well as determine the optimal concentrations of the treatments under study.
The study concluded that all two-way and three-way interactions among the study factors had a significant effect on the traits evaluated.
