A Master’s thesis at the College of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk, examined the reduction of environmental stress through soaking and foliar spraying with the Xtender Row Ultra biostimulant and the estimation of some genetic parameters in soybean genotypes.
The thesis, submitted by Zainab Ismail Akbar, aimed to determine the best application method and concentration of the biostimulant used in the experiment, evaluate the performance of soybean genotypes based on growth, yield and its components, oil and protein traits, select the best combination of biostimulant treatment and genotype, and investigate selected genetic parameters.
The study concluded that the interaction between soaking and foliar-spraying treatments and the soybean genotypes had a significant effect on most of the traits studied.
