Students from the College of Agriculture participated in a major volunteer campaign organized by the Department of Dormitory Affairs at the University of Kirkuk, in cooperation with the Volunteer Work Division and the Kirkuk Green Volunteer Team, to rehabilitate and landscape the gardens of the female students’ residential complex on campus.

Mr. Mustafa Sabah Hameed, Director of the Student Activities Division at the College of Agriculture, explained that College of Agriculture students joined their peers from other colleges of the University of Kirkuk in the large-scale volunteer initiative to plant and rehabilitate the gardens of the female students’ residential complex.

He noted that the campaign is of great importance in expanding green spaces within the university and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the female students’ residential complex, while also promoting a culture of volunteerism and environmental responsibility among students.
