The Afforestation Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Field Crops, the Student Activities Division, and the College’s Volunteer Work Committee, organized a volunteer campaign to plant trees at Motlo Girls’ Intermediate School located in the Tes’een area.
Asst. Lect. Omaima Abdul-Samad Hassan, the head of the Afforestation Unit at the college, explained that as part of an ongoing series of projects to plant trees in government institutions and schools across the province, the College of Agriculture carried out this tree-planting campaign at Motlo Girls’ Intermediate School. She added that the initiative reflects the college’s belief in creating a healthy and aesthetically pleasing environment for school students, as well as promoting a culture of afforestation among younger generations of all ages.
