Training Course at the University of Kirkuk on Chemical Safety, Security, and Laboratory Risk Management

The Chemical Safety and Security Unit at the College of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk, organized a specialized training course on chemical safety, security, and risk management in laboratories, with the participation of laboratory supervisors and postgraduate students.

The course aimed to reinforce occupational safety standards and develop skills in risk management and the safe handling of chemicals in laboratory environments, ensuring a safe working and research environment for researchers, students, and laboratory supervisors.

The course included a lecture delivered by Dr. Thikra Ahmed Hassan, Head of the College’s Chemical Safety and Security Unit, who outlined the key procedures that must be followed by users of chemical laboratories, including undergraduate and postgraduate students and researchers.
