The University Counseling Division at the College of Agriculture organized an awareness seminar on irregular (illegal) migration, its causes, and ways to reduce it, with the participation of faculty members, staff, and students.
The seminar included lectures presented by Assistant Lecturer Maha Ahmed Kamal and Dr. Zekra Ahmed Hassan, in which they discussed the political, economic, and social causes of irregular migration. They also highlighted methods to reduce it, including enhancing national investment, improving public health conditions, strengthening border control, enforcing strict legal penalties, promoting international cooperation, creating job opportunities, and improving economic conditions.
