The Continuing Education Division at the College of Agriculture, in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education / Development Division at the Presidency of the University of Kirkuk, organized a training course for college staff to enhance their competence in combating and reducing corruption.
The Director of the Continuing Education Division at the College, Dr. Haider Bahjat Nasih, stated that the course aims to strengthen the culture of integrity among university employees and to emphasize the leading role of educational institutions in combating corruption and building an honest and just society.
He added that the course included awareness lectures delivered by Assistant Lecturer Diman Hussein Ali from the College of Law at the University of Kirkuk, addressing the concept of corruption, its forms, and its impact on sustainable development, as well as reviewing national legislation and the efforts of academic institutions in promoting the principles of integrity and transparency.
