A lecturer at the College of Agriculture participates in an international conference on the occasion of World Environment Day

A lecturer at the College of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk, Dr. Saad Abdulmajeed Wahib, participated in the proceedings of the International Scientific, Research and Applied Conference for Environmental and Energy Development, ICEED24.

Wahib explained that, under the slogan “Future Prospects for the Development of Renewable Energy: Environmental Solutions and Challenges,” the Ajaa International Institute for Environmental Research, Sustainable Development, and Renewable Energy organized the event in partnership with the International Association of Universities, Knowledge University, and the Eco Organization, and in cooperation with a group of official organizations and institutions in the Middle East and Africa, especially in Iraq and the region. Kurdistan, its first international scientific, research and applied conference for environmental and energy development, ICEED24, over two days, June 5 and 6, 2024, at Knowledge University, Erbil - Iraq, in the presence of the representative of the Kurdistan Region, ministers, representatives, academics, consultants and experts in the field of environment and energy.

Wahib added that the conference addressed important and fundamental topics related to desertification, climate change, environmental pollution, and renewable energy, and how to address them and reduce their damage.
