A research team consisting of Dr. Yaseen Obeid Nouri Ahmed Shareef from the College of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk, researcher Tariq Raad Thaer from the College of Medicinal Plants, and Dr. Hussein Ali Hindi and Dr. Dawood Salman Madhab from the College of Agriculture, University of Tikrit, published a joint scientific paper in the journal Natural and Engineering Sciences, which is indexed in Scopus (Q1).
The research team explained that their study addressed the topic:
“Nature in Inheritance of Yield and Its Components in Different Mating Designs of Cotton Genotypes (Gossypium hirsutum L.).”
They added that the published research aimed to study the behavior of cotton yield traits and their components under two mating systems: diallel and partial diallel crosses.
