The Agricultural Research and Experimentation Station is conducting a rehabilitation campaign for citrus and pomegranate orchards

In preparation for conducting researches there, the Agricultural Research and Experiments Station affiliated with the College of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk, is carrying out a rehabilitation campaign for citrus and pomegranate orchards, which includes carrying out agricultural operations in the fruit orchards, including pruning, plowing and hoeing the soil, uprooting and fertilizing the bushes, and re-installing the drip irrigation system. The teaching assistant professor, Dr. Raad Ahmed Medan, who supervises the campaign, explained that with the efforts of the research station staff and the graduate students in the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering, a rehabilitation campaign was conducted for citrus and pomegranate orchards, in preparation for conducting the practical part of the master’s students’ research in them.
