The Kirkuk University Journal of Agricultural Sciences, published by the College of Agriculture, announced that it has been awarded the Seal of Recognition for Active Data Provider of the Year 2026 by the FAO AGRIS platform, affiliated with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), for the year 2026.
The journal’s Editorial Board explained that the Kirkuk University Journal of Agricultural Sciences has been registered as a data provider within the AGRIS Open Data Set (ODS), making it possible to display the official seal on the journal’s website after it was granted by FAO.
The Editorial Board added that the journal’s staff are making continuous efforts to link the journal with internationally recognized platforms, in line with the University of Kirkuk’s goal of achieving global recognition.
