College of Agriculture Holds the Second Meeting of the Agro-Industrial Council to Discuss Ways to Develop the Agricultural Sector in the Province

In activation of the College of Agriculture’s role in contributing to the development of the agro-industrial sector in the province,
the second meeting of the Agro-Industrial Council was held today, chaired by the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Asst. Prof. Dr. Osama Ibrahim Ahmed.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the vocational education sector, including its director and several principals of agricultural high schools, along with representatives from farmers’ associations and the private sector.

The participants discussed a number of vital issues concerning the current state of the agricultural sector, the main challenges it faces, and possible solutions to overcome them.

The attendees agreed on a set of recommendations and practical solutions to be submitted to the relevant authorities, emphasizing the importance of holding regular follow-up meetings and inviting farmers and related company owners to take part in implementing these solutions.
