The College of Pharmacy holds a scientific symposium entitled (Sustainable Development to Demonstrate the Dangers of Obesity in Our Society)

The Women's Affairs Unit at the College of Pharmacy, through the Continuing Education Division, held a scientific symposium entitled (Sustainable Development to Demonstrate the Dangers of Obesity in Our Society) on Monday 3/18/2024.

The symposium included a lecture by Assistant Professor Manal Abdullah Rashid, in which she addressed the definition of obesity and the causes of weight gain from excessive and abnormal accumulation of fat in the body, which leads to posing a risk to human health, as obesity is not just a problem related to aesthetic appearance, but a medical problem that increases the risk factors for many diseases and health problems.
