A lecturer at the College of Pharmacy participates as a member of the committee to discuss a master’s thesis at Tikrit University

Professor Dr. Muhammad Talat Abbas, a lecturer at the College of Pharmacy and Head of the Clinical Laboratory Sciences Department, participated on Thursday morning, 2024/8/29, as a member of the committee to discuss the master's thesis of the student Mustafa Ali Zain Al-Abidin at the College of Medicine, Tikrit University, under the supervision of both Professor Dr. Nihad Narjis Hilal and Professor Dr. Amna Hamid Ahmed.

Dr. Muhammad Talat explained that the encyclopedic message (The role of myostatin and fibroblast growth factor in patients with diabetic nephropathy in the city of Kirkuk)
aims to verify the importance of myostatin and fibroblast growth factor in the development of diabetic nephropathy.

The student concluded that increasing myostatin, fibroblast growth factor, insulin resistance, insulin resistance and anemia in patients with diabetic nephropathy may enhance the development of diabetic nephropathy patients and may contribute to accelerating the disease and may increase the rates of morbidity and mortality in the group infected with the disease compared to healthy people.
