Assistant Professor Dr. Nashwan Omar Rashid, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, participated on Monday 9/2/2024 as a member of the committee to discuss the doctoral thesis of the student Heman Saeed Saleh in the Department of Chemistry, College of Science, University of Sulaimani. The thesis entitled (A kinetic and thermodynamic study of the oxidative coupling of some anilines with promethazine through practical and theoretical methods) aimed to prepare some colored Schiff bases from the reaction of aniline and 14 derivatives with promethazine reagent through oxidative coupling reaction and conduct a practical study of the kinetic stability and some thermodynamic properties of the prepared compounds in an acidic environment and compare them with the theoretical results obtained from the corresponding theoretical models using special analytical programs.
