A lecturer at the College of Pharmacy participates as a member in discussing a doctoral thesis at Tikrit University

Assistant Professor Dr. Nihad Ismail Taha, a lecturer at the College of Pharmacy and Head of the Pharmaceutics Department, participated on Thursday morning, 3/7/2024, as a member of the committee to discuss the doctoral thesis of the student Maha Mahdi Saleh in the Department of Chemistry, College of Education for Girls at Tikrit University, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Salwa Abdul Sattar Jabbar. Dr. Nihad Ismail Taha explained that the student's thesis entitled (Preparation, diagnosis and study of liquid crystalline properties, biological, laser, nano and cancer activity and molecular docking of some heterocyclic compounds of 1,3,4-bis-oxadiazole derivatives), aimed to prepare some Schiff base compounds bonded to some active groups, some of which have proven effective as antibacterial and against breast cancer cells, while others showed the properties of liquid crystals.
