A Master’s thesis at the College of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk, examined the physiological effects of administering an aqueous shilajit solution on biological indicators, hematological and biochemical parameters, as well as milk production and characteristics in Iraqi buffaloes during the summer season.
The thesis, submitted by Binaz Riyadh Ali Jabbar, aimed to investigate the physiological effects of administering aqueous shilajit solution on selected biological, hematological, and biochemical indicators, as well as milk production and characteristics in Iraqi buffaloes during the summer season. The study sought to evaluate its effectiveness as a practical nutritional approach to support animals’ resistance to heat stress and improve productivity.
The study concluded that administering aqueous shilajit solution to buffaloes during the summer season had a significant effect on the traits evaluated in the experiment.
