Master's Thesis at Kirkuk University Discusses Using AHP Hierarchical Modeling and GIS in Evaluating Land Suitability for Agriculture

 A Master's thesis at the College of Agriculture discussed the use of AHP hierarchical modeling and geographic information systems (GIS) in evaluating land suitability for agriculture in the Dawodi Plain, Tooz Khormato District, Salahuddin Governorate.

The study presented by student Koran Safar Mohammed aimed to determine the suitability of lands in the Dawodi Plain, Tooz Khormato District, for agriculture in general and specifically for wheat cultivation, using AHP and GIS technologies.

The study concluded that integrating AHP hierarchical modeling with GIS technology is effective in evaluating land suitability and will contribute to improving land resource management.
