The Department of Field Crops at the college organizes a tree planting campaign for one of the schools

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk, Assistant Professor Dr. Osamah Ibrahim Ahmed, and under the supervision of the Head of the Field Crops Department, Professor Dr. Khattab Abdullah Mohammed, and in cooperation with the Afforestation Unit at the college, a tree planting campaign was organized for one of the schools in Kirkuk Governorate, Mutlu Intermediate School for Girls located in the Taseen area, with the participation of teachers and students of the Field Crops Department.

The head of the campaign, Professor Dr. Khattab Abdullah Mohammed, explained that with the participation of teachers and students of the Field Crops Department, and in cooperation with the Afforestation Unit at the college, a tree planting campaign was organized for the school, as part of a plan prepared by the Deanship of the College of Agriculture, to plant trees in all schools in the governorate successively.

He added that the campaign also included giving awareness lectures to the school's female students, showing the importance of tree planting and its benefits to humans and the environment, and urging them to spread the culture of tree planting in society.
