Scientific symposium at Kirkuk University on genomic data analysis

Under the patronage of the respected President of Kirkuk University, Prof. Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Osamah Ibrahim Ahmed, the Department of Animal Production organized its scientific symposium on genomic data analysis, with the attendance and participation of researchers and specialists in this field.

The symposium included two lectures, the first by Prof. Dr. Khalil Ibrahim Al-Jawasreh from the College of Agriculture, University of Science and Technology in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which included how to process genomic data and some notes in the analysis, while the second lecture by the lecturer at the College of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk, Assistant Professor Dr. Ismail Younis Hassan, dealt with genomic analysis.

The symposium aimed to introduce the basics of genomic data analysis and provide an overview of the basic concepts and tools used in this field, which helps to understand the foundations of genomic data analysis and address the practical applications used in genomic data analysis, in addition to providing an overview of modern techniques in genome analysis and learning about the latest developments in genetic sequencing techniques and advanced analysis tools and how these techniques can improve the accuracy and efficiency of data analysis. It also highlighted the challenges and ethics of genomic data analysis.
