The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Agriculture organized an awareness seminar titled “Women and Building Stability: Psychological and Material Adaptation Mechanisms Amid Current Challenges,” with the participation of the college’s staff and students.
Dr. Zikra Ahmed Hassan, Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit, explained that in light of the current regional circumstances facing the country, and as part of the unit’s ongoing activities aimed at enhancing community awareness, the seminar was held to highlight the pivotal role of Iraqi women in crisis management.
She added that the seminar focused on two main aspects: the psychological dimension, including ways to build a cohesive family environment and confront psychological warfare and rumors accompanying security and political crises; and the practical (logistical) dimension, which addressed smart household management, necessary precautions to secure family needs, and how to act wisely and calmly during emergencies.
