Professor Dr. Qana’a Hussein Amin, a faculty member at the College of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk, participated as a member of the PhD dissertation defense committee for the student Bahaa Jalal Abdullah Marai at the College of Agriculture, University of Tikrit.
Dr. Qana’a explained that the dissertation, titled “The Effect of Adding Two Selenium Sources on the Gene Expression of Traits Related to Productivity and Physiology in ISA Brown Laying Hens,” examined how selenium supplementation influences genetic expression linked to production and physiological performance in laying hens.
He added that, after a thorough discussion, the examination committee approved the dissertation as part of the requirements for obtaining the PhD degree and granted the student the degree accordingly.
