A research team consisting of Assistant Professor Dr. Adnan Shakur Ahmed from the College of Agriculture, and Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Sabah Al-Ta’i and Assistant Lecturer Najla Daniyar Al-Radhwani from the College of Veterinary Medicine, has published a scientific paper in the international journal Journal of Animal Health and Production, which is indexed in Scopus (Q3).
The research team explained that the published study addressed the assessment and risks of heavy metal contamination in local goat meat.
They added that the study aimed to detect and evaluate the risk of heavy metal contamination in local goat meat and its impact on human health.
