On the occasion of National Afforestation Day, the College of Agriculture launches a large tree planting campaign with the participation of all members and students of the college

Under the patronage of the respected President of the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Assistant Professor Dr. Osamah Ibrahim Ahmed, and coinciding with the National Afforestation Day approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the College of Agriculture organized an afforestation campaign that included planting various types of seedlings in the college’s courtyards, with the participation of All members and students of the college.

The Dean of the College explained that it coincided with the National Afforestation Day, which was designated by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which falls on the twelfth of March of each year, by holding special events for this day, such as workshops, afforestation campaigns, and awareness campaigns on the importance of afforestation for the university community, students, professors, and employees. A planting campaign was organized for the college’s courtyards.
