As part of the activities of the "Plant" Initiative launched by the respected President of the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, the Deanship of the College of Agriculture hosted the teaching staff and students of Al-Huda Preparatory School for Girls, to give an awareness lecture to the students on the subject of afforestation. The Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Osama Ibrahim Ahmed, explained, during a lecture he gave to the audience, the importance of afforestation for humans, and the new generation should pay attention to afforestation, whether at home or school, due to its environmental importance on the one hand, and its aesthetic importance on the other hand.
