The President of the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, launched the third edition of the “Iqra” (Read) initiative, calling on all university students to take advantage of this initiative to enhance their cultural awareness.
Mr. Anas Mutlag Mohammed, Director of the College Library, explained that in response to the initiative launched by the President of the University of Kirkuk, college students have begun visiting the college library to read and borrow books in order to participate in the competition included within the Iqra initiative. He added that the President of the University of Kirkuk has allocated valuable prizes for the winning students.
He also noted that the college library staff has prepared a comprehensive program that includes cultural activities and competitions among college students as part of the Iqra initiative.
