The Library Division

The College of Agriculture Library was established in 2005 and is currently located in the Deanship Building on the third floor.

Library contents:

1. (5400) source books, including (3400) source books in Arabic and (2000) source books in English.
2. Number of periodicals (577).
3. Number of university theses and doctoral dissertations (477) theses and dissertations.
4. (410) Number of digital researches.

Library tasks:

1. Exchanging periodicals, theses and dissertations for postgraduate studies for master’s and doctoral studies, as well as exchanging the Iraqi Journal of Agricultural Sciences between colleges of agriculture.
2. Holding a scientific book fair on the occasion of University Day every year.
3. Enter biographical data electronically for books and sources into a special program.
4. Printing loan IDs for college students for internal and external borrowing.
5. Maintaining source books by binding and maintaining them so that they are suitable for reading.
6. Holding scientific seminars and conferences inside the library hall.
7. A hall was opened for reading and giving lectures to postgraduate students.
8. There is a reading hall that accommodates (100) students of preliminary studies.
