Assistant Professor Dr. Amira Kamal Muhammad, a lecturer at the College of Pharmacy and Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, participated on Wednesday morning, September 18, 2024, as a discussing member in the master's thesis discussion committee for the student Zahraa Hatem Abdullah in the Department of Life Sciences at the College of Science, University of Kirkuk, under the supervision of both Professor Dr. Sahla Khorshid Abbas and Assistant Professor Dr. Evan Muhammad Mustafa. Dr. Amira Kamal Muhammad explained that the aim of the student's thesis entitled (Study of some physiological and immune criteria for polycystic ovary syndrome in women in Kirkuk Governorate) is to know the therapeutic effect after three months of following a healthy diet and some sugar-lowering treatments such as metformin in treating and improving insulin resistance and levels of some blood and immune cytokine criteria to treat cases of infertility and primary and secondary infertility in women with polycystic ovary syndrome.
