Two cases were reported to the college's teaching veterinary clinic. The first involved a ram suffering from swelling and inflammation, which led to urinary retention. The second involved a sheep suffering from plague, or Peste des Petits Ruminants (PPR). The clinic's veterinarians conducted clinical and laboratory examinations of both cases, confirming the diagnosis of each case and administering the necessary treatment and intravenous fluids. The breeder was also instructed to isolate the infected cases and vaccinate other uninfected animals to prevent the spread of the disease. The veterinarians also instructed the breeder to follow safety guidelines when handling infected animals to avoid contracting contagious diseases.
