A teacher from Kirkuk University publishes research in an international journal.

A lecturer at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kirkuk, M. M. Al-Muataz Billah Khaled, published a research entitled Therapeutic Properties of Terminalia Arjuna An Overview, in an international journal published in the Republic of India, Journal of Herbal Medicine and Therapeutic Research, which is concerned with scientific research related to medicinal plants and their therapeutic uses.The research examined the therapeutic properties of the Terminalia Arjuna plant and its role in traditional medical systems such as Ayurveda and Unani medicine, and highlighted effective compounds such as Arjunalic acid and Gallicacid and their role in supporting heart functions in addition to their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
