English The College of Veterinary Medicine held a discussion session entitled Canned Chicken Products and Their Danger to Human Health in the presence of the Dean of the College and a number of members and students of the College. The session included a lecture given by M.M. Abbas Najmuddin Saleh, in which he addressed the identification of sources of canned poultry meat and avoiding excessive consumption of it due to its negative effects on the health of the individual and society, as it contains poultry meat classified as second-class and is cooked at very high temperatures and artificial flavors and preservatives are added to it. The lecturer recommended avoiding the use of canned poultry meat in large quantities due to its harmful and negative effects on human health, stressing the need to eat fresh meat rich in essential and beneficial nutrients such as vitamins, proteins and minerals
