Fourth-year students perform surgery on a cow

A surgery was performed on a cow suffering from severe emaciation and loss of appetite by fourth-year students at the college’s veterinary clinic, where its rumen was opened. The veterinarians, Hussein Hashem and Raad Jabbar, who performed the surgery, said that the case had been previously treated according to the date of the review, but without any response from it. The surgery was performed and samples of foreign materials such as ropes, plastic bags, nails and other materials were extracted.The operation was successful and she was given a set of vitamins, salts and amino acids to help her eat and avoid any complications or loss of appetite (Pica) in the future.
