The College of Veterinary Medicine holds an educational seminar on traffic instructions.

As part of the activities of the Iraqi Week for Volunteer Work, the College of Veterinary Medicine held an educational seminar entitled Traffic Safety Guidelines with the participation of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Mahmoud Adeeb Agha, and the college's members and students. The seminar included a lecture given by the Legal Traffic Colonel Amer Nariman Reda, in which he addressed the importance of traffic guidelines, which are a set of general instructions aimed at the safety of road users, including pedestrians, cyclists, vehicles and public transportation. Traffic guidelines are also a road map to ensure the safety and effectiveness of traffic on the roads, and they contribute significantly to achieving many benefits to reduce the number of accidents and maintain the safety and security of road users. The lecturer recommended the necessity of adhering to traffic rules and laws by wearing a seat belt, making sure to leave a safe distance between cars, adhering to the specified speed, following the traffic officer's signal, and ensuring that the street is clear of cars before pedestrians cross, in addition to periodically inspecting cars and applying the conditions of strength and safety.
