The Division of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance at the College of Veterinary Medicine organized an awareness lecture entitled The Dangers of Drugs, in the presence of first-year students. The lecturer, M. M. Al-Mutazballah Khaled, spoke about the types of drugs and what are the reasons for their spread among the spectrum of society, especially young people, highlighting their health, psychological, and social effects.The lecture aimed to raise awareness among young people by enhancing their self-awareness, spreading the culture of drug prevention, reporting cases of abuse and promotion, and motivating young people to pursue alternative activities such as sports, engaging in cultural programs, and others.
