Prof. Dr. Ismail Younis Hassan, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the College of Veterinary Medicine, participated in the membership of the committee to discuss a master's thesis entitled "The Effect of Clove Bud Powder and Vitamin C in Reducing Heat Stress on the Productive and Physiological Performance and Antioxidant Status of Broiler Chickens During the Summer", for the student Fouad Nasser. The thesis dealt with the advantages of clove buds and vitamin C on the productive and physiological performance and some oxidation criteria that are included in the carcass characteristics in cases of stress for broiler chickens when exposed to heat stress. It is worth noting that adding clove bud powder and vitamin C to broiler feed showed positive results that helped in the moral improvement of the studied characteristics and affected the performance of poultry in the summer.
