The College of Veterinary Medicine holds an awareness seminar entitled (Intellectual Security in Confronting Terrorism and Extremism)

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Kamal Ali Saleh, and based on the directives of the Presidency of the University of Kirkuk, Division of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance, the College of Veterinary Medicine held an awareness symposium entitled Intellectual Security in Confronting Terrorism and Extremism within the activities of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit in the college in the presence of affiliates and students. The symposium included Two lectures were given by Professor Dr. Salah Oribi Abbas, teaching at the College of Arts, indicating the important role of academic and educational institutions.In spreading awareness and sound discourse and rejecting extremist ideas at all levels. The second lecture was delivered by Dr. Shihab Ahmed, representative of the Directorate for Combating Intellectual Terrorism in Kirkuk, in which he explained the definition of intellectual security, the history of its origins, and ways of prevention. The symposium recommended the need for concerted efforts to spread sound awareness among members of society.
