The educational veterinary clinic receives a sick case.

As part of the activities of veterinarians at the Teaching Veterinary Clinic at the College of Veterinary Medicine, a case of a sheep suffering from a hernia was reported. After conducting the necessary clinical and laboratory tests, the case was diagnosed and a successful surgical operation was performed. A mesh was placed on it due to the large size of the hernia. The patient was given intravenous fluids and the necessary medical treatments after the surgical operation. The breeder was also instructed to follow the veterinary medical instructions and guidelines to avoid health complications, in addition to instructing the breeder to follow preventive measures when touching animals to avoid the risks of hemorrhagic fever. It is worth noting that all health and treatment services are provided at the Teaching Veterinary Clinic free of charge.
