English The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine participated in the festival honoring students with disabilities held by the University of Kirkuk. The head of the Central Committee, Prof. Dr. Shahd Abbas, stressed that the university presidency is keen to support and empower students and assist them in their academic career and to provide continuous support to this category of students with determination, persistence and will who have defied disability and excelled in their studies and commitment, forming a bright image of the University of Kirkuk and an example to be emulated by future generations. In the same context, the students expressed their gratitude for this paternal gesture from the university presidency, stressing their challenge and determination to reach the highest scientific and academic ranks.
