English A lecturer at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Asst. Prof. Dr. Selda Saeed Yassin, participated in discussing the master's thesis of the student Tina Artam Ali at the Northern Technical University. The lecturer stated that the thesis was entitled "The synergistic effect of some natural products and metal nanoparticles with antibiotics against multidrug-resistant bacteria." The thesis included the isolation and identification of Gram-negative resistant bacteria by identifying the synergistic effects of the plant extract mixed with copper oxide nanoparticles and various antibiotics as a viable strategy to combat multidrug-resistant bacteria. The lecturer added that the researcher recommended evaluating the synergistic antibacterial efficacy of the plant extract, copper oxide nanoparticles and antibiotics against bacteria.
