The College of Veterinary Medicine held a seminar entitled (Pollution and its Role in the Phenomenon of Global Warming) in the presence of the Dean of the College, the faculty, and the associates. The seminar included a lecture given by M.M. (Walid Mahdi Abdullah) about the increase in the phenomenon of global warming due to pollution resulting from the increase in the proportion of warm gases, both Carbon and methane, which work to prevent the sun’s rays from leaving the Earth, which causes the Earth’s temperatures to rise. These gases are emitted as a result of burning gas, coal, and oil in the process of generating energy, as well as cutting down trees, which affects the environment.
