The College of Veterinary Medicine holds a seminar entitled (Together to create an environment free of harassment)

The College of Veterinary Medicine held a seminar entitled “Together to Create an Environment Free from the Phenomenon of Harassment” in the presence of the Dean of the College, the teaching staff, and members.
The episode included a lecture given by M.M. (Hiam Rashid Shehab) about the phenomenon of harassment, which is a form of corruption and some scholars define it as a violation of the rules of social behavior that relate to the public and social interest, meaning it is deviant, illegal and religious behavior to achieve specific goals that harm society or a segment of it. And cause damage to them
The lecturer recommended the need to raise awareness and how to deal with the harasser, and not to be ashamed to raise the problem and treat it, so that it will be a deterrent to weak-minded people, as well as activating the role of the psychological counselor in universities and schools, and also working to have a deterrent in law for this harassment, and setting penalties based on it, such as material and moral costs, as well as up to imprisonment.
