The College of Veterinary Medicine, as part of its continuing education activities, held a panel discussion entitled (Symptoms of Vitamin D deficiency in women and methods of treating it) in the presence of the Dean of the College, the teaching staff, and the associates. The seminar included a lecture given by M. Clink Madad Wirdi, in which she touched on the symptoms of Vitamin D deficiency in women, and its deficiency leads to symptoms. Psychological problems, diabetes, breast cancer, heart disease, and a weak immune system. The lecture recommended replacing vitamin D in the body by exposure to sunlight and taking nutritional supplements rich in vitamin D.
