A master’s thesis in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences discusses a proposed job description for selecting the specialized supervisor for physical education teachers in Iraq
With the participation and supervision of the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Kirkuk University, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Saber, the college discussed a master’s thesis on a proposed job description for selecting the specialized supervisor for physical education teachers in Iraq, by the student Musa Khalil Ibrahim.
The study aimed to build a job description scale for specialized physical education supervisors in Iraq, and to identify the degree of specialized physical education supervisors in Iraq on a job description scale, as well as to identify the differences in the job description scale for specialized physical education supervisors according to gender, academic achievement, and years of service.
The study reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which is the construction of a job description scale for specialized supervisors in the general directorates of education in Iraq, who have a high awareness of the job description they occupy, as well as their competence and good performance in expressing their opinions on the job tasks they occupy through their answers to the scale.
The study recommended the necessity of adopting the scale prepared by the researcher as scientific research tools in job descriptions, and applying a job description scale by the Directorate of Specialist and Educational Supervision to select specialty supervisors before assigning them to their jobs, and conducting similar studies for job descriptions of specialty supervisors for the rest of the other specialties.
On the sidelines of the discussion, the Dean of the College presented a letter of thanks and appreciation to the Chairman of the Teaching Discussion Committee at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Diyala, Professor Dr. Othman Mahmoud Shehadha, for his distinguished efforts, keenness, and support for the scientific process and its advancement.
