College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences holds a refereeing course in handball
The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, in cooperation with the Handball Sub-Federation, Kirkuk Branch, held a special refereeing course in handball, in the presence of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Ahmad Saber, Scientific Assistant, and the Head of the Kirkuk Representation in the Iraqi National Olympic Committee, Nawzad Qadir, the continental referee, Kamal Faiq, and a some of Teaching staff.
The course, which witnessed a number of theoretical and practical lectures moderated by the Administrative Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Mateen Suleiman Saleh, and lectured by Imad Abbas and continental referee Kamal Fayek, aimed to introduce the participating students to the handball regulations and address the latest developments that have occurred in the regulations of the game.
Media Division official Ali Al-Tayeb stated that the course will include an intensive program of theoretical and practical lectures and will continue on Wednesday and Thursday, corresponding to 7/8/2/2024, and will include a practical and theoretical test of the refereeing mechanism, a physical test for the participants, and the participants will obtain a refereeing certificates at the end of the course.
