The Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Prof. Shahd Abbas Al-Attar, participated in the activities of the 6th International Scientific Conference of Veterinary Medicine Colleges, held under the theme "Veterinary Medicine and its Role in Promoting Public Health and Sustainability." The conference was attended by deans of veterinary medicine colleges from Iraqi universities. In his speech at the conference, the President of the University of Karbala, Prof. Sabah Wajid, stated that organizing scientific conferences is evidence of excellence and the advancement of scientific research and knowledge through the exchange of experiences and knowledge to achieve progress and prosperity. The Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala, Dr. Muhammad Al-Kaabi, explained in his speech that human health is inseparable from animal health, due to the common communicable diseases between them, the most important of which is hemorrhagic fever. Al-Attar emphasized that the conference activities were attended by a large number of deans of veterinary medicine colleges from local and international universities, as well as a large number of researchers and specialists in this field.
