The College of Veterinary Medicine organized a volunteer campaign inside the dog sanctuary in the Laylan area within the administrative borders of Kirkuk Governorate, with the participation of a number of veterinarians and college students. The campaign included examining dogs and providing the necessary medical treatment for sick cases among them. 250 cans of canned meat were also provided as food for them. It is worth noting that this campaign aims to raise awareness among students and motivate them to communicate continuously with their professors by involving them in field visits to these sanctuaries and providing food and medicine to all dogs.
